7-way Wiring Problem

Hey Guys,

I purchased a new TV and now the 7-wire won't reach from the TT to the TV.

So, I bought a new longer 7-way and proceeded to try to re-wire everything in the junction box under the TT. (It is a Bargman 50-67-620-7-way.
This is the picture from the original setup.

When I tried my right turn signal everything flashes-signals, marker lights. Everything. No left turn signal at all. I didn't even try the brakes

In addition to the 5 scotch locks there is two groups of wires in twist locks. I am not sure if I have the two groups in the twist locks wrong or if something else is crossed somewhere. I am supposed to take it for the inspection Wednesday night and go camping this weekend.

I am at a loss on what might be wrong. I put everything together as was in the original picture.

Please Help

Many newer trucks have seperate fuses and relays for trailer lights, power, and brakes. It's possible to have everything working on the truck and things not working on the trailer. Check your owners manual, or post year / make / model, and someone here may have the info on your truck.

Here's a link to a diagram that may help.

  • A quick thought, you blew a fuse???? with a test and connected to truck you should have a hot wire.

good luck, i know it is a pain but you just have a fuse blown or the wires mixed up. make sure you have a hot from the truck too.
