You guys: Admin, 96Bounder30E, and Dick A let a certain thread go on much longer than I ever would have believed. I, for one, would just like to go on record with my appreciation for the moderate moderation (Har) that was illustrated by the aforementioned individuals. The posters' responses, unless some were deleted, were fairly moderate, IMO, and very little animosity was displayed. No flaming and I only saw 1 really trolling post.All in all I do wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. And I hope Santa is especially nice to certain mods and admins on RV.net.

I echo the appreciation to the moderators here. Their efforts is one of the reasons this forum has been popular year after year. Merry Christmas to all!

I am truly sorry if it sounded like I was slighting any of the other mods and/or admins of the site. That was not my intent, it was just to highlight what I thought was an admirable job by a specific group.

It was refreshing to see an adult discussion occur with a 'controversial' topic and not have it closed......kudos!I'm glad that it wasn't closed, deleted or moved...especially to ATC. That WOULD have caused it to be closed

A heartfelt "Thank You" to the Moderators and Administrtors.

Yep, I don't see things going out of hand here, and discussion is pretty much civil compared to a lot of other places on the 'Net.

Permit me to add;.... dedicated, savy, sensible, and without any particular "agenda", no wonder General RVing is my favorite forum.

If they - posters, Mods & Admins - like Mr. Robertson and approve of his views, so be it.
However, it simply doesn't belong here.

So you "thinly" call Robertson a bigot and in the next sentence say such opinions don't belong here. :h

Very curious as to what happened on "my" thread regarding the removal of DD merchandise from CB shelves. When last I read it, things were mostly civil and the disagreements seemed relatively mild and non offensive. I made my explanation as to why I posted the question, then I didn't go back till this AM. I thought it had run it's course. Appears I was wrong.
Can someone PM me with what happened?

I take it that was written by someone who never speeds, never eases past a very stale yellow light, makes sure to pay his state sales tax on online purchases, never willingly forgets to put money in the meter, IOW pays heed to all and sundry rules. And never tears the tag off his mattresses. :)

Yes, my thanks was in fact for allowing a thread to run longer than I thought it would due to it's volatile subject matter. But sometimes I feel that some rules are made to be broken, or at least stretched a bit. :)
