I also picked up my a new unit yesterday. Completely empty it does feel light like it doesn't have enough tongue weight. I also have the 4pt equalizer but pulling a 6000 dry weight.
I plan to load up for our first trip, pull a few miles and stop at a truck stop to check my WD calculation and make adjustments as needed. I think the dealership that set my up is not transferring enough weight up front, hence the light feeling in the back. Once it is completely loaded for a trip is the best time to check the hitch setup.
