A letter to my neighbor flying his drone early this morning
Hello neighbor,
Welcome to Bluewater Key RV Resort. Isn't this place amazing? We are surrounded by water in this tropical paradise. I just love relaxing here and enjoying the quite surroundings on the water. Don't you? It's such a beautiful place that I don't mind spending $175 per night to be here. I think it's wonderful.
I see you have one of those new drones. Those things are very cool. You said you just got it a couple of days ago and Amazon delivered it right to your door. The battery lasts over 20 minutes, does it? You must be very excited about it. But could you do me one small favor?
Could you please wait a few hours before flying it around in the morning? It's 7:15 and I awoke this morning to, what sounded like, a huge swarm of angry wasps above my coach being chased by a pack of dogs.
You may not realize this, but some people like to sleep a little later in the morning. My wife and kids are still trying to sleep and we are in the Keys. Key West is known as a party town and some folks come to these parts to party and stay here because it's close to town. They definitely don't get up at 7:15 in the morning.
While I'm thoroughly impressed that you want to hone your skills on that drone and will take amazing video of the tops of all our RVs, you may wish to consider the consequences of starting so early. I'm certain some folks will complain to the management and those drones you love to fly may end up getting banned all together.
With a little foresight on your part, you could continue flying your new toy and everyone can enjoy the park.
