Sure was a nice guy to help you out though!

I was camped next to a guy in a older Dodge class A motorhome at a Coast to Coast camping resort. He was having a difficult time re-starting his motorhome to go home on Sunday. It would not stay running once it was warm, and was running very rich, due to leaking floats in the carb. So he took off the carb, and my buddy drove him and his wife home, so they could get replacement parts, and return (on their own) to fix it. It was a nice feeling to help the older couple out. . .

Another time at the same resort, a guy with a veteran's cap on asked for some help, and I told him that he already paid, referring to his time in the Military.

Now is the time to make a extra key for the RV door and storage compartments. Keep the door key in the truck glovebox, the storage compartment key someplace inside the RV.

Some of the nicest people I've ever met were fellow campers/RV'rs.

It is a wonderful thing to have some folks that are our neighbors for just a few days that become friends for a lifetime.

We returned to our rig one day and found a football sized rock near the steps. It was polished smooth in a couple areas and drilled in the center and had a candle wick holder. They also left a bottle of lamp oil and matches. Nice night light. :)

Yeah, I'll second the suggestion of extra keys. I keep a set of trailer keys in the TV at all times. Wife has a set she keeps on her giant keys-to-everything ring in her purse. And there are two sets IN the trailer for our pockets after we get where we are going, so we can leave that purse and the TV set where they normally live. You can't drive any car 10 miles for what it costs to have a couple sets of keys made.

The wife carries an extra set of trailer and car keys whenever we go anywhere

We havent been camping/RV'ing for long but that was the first thing we noticed....these folks are super cool and helpful.

We keep keys for our tt in our Ford and another set in the tt. Our Excursion has a combination door locks so we always have access. When we had a mh we kept an extra key to the RV in our tow along. Miss my mh...
