- drsteveExplorerI promise you there is no chance this guy hooked up the brakes on the pickup bed/trailer. Probably not on the 5er either. Having them both operational would require two brake controllers.
- JIMNLINExplorer IIIdepends..... if the pin weight is in front of the pickup bed trailers axle or behind the axle.
The Automated Safety Hitch system has no sway.
If the guy has done his homework nothing wrong with the set up. - 2003silveradoExplorer IIAm I wrong or could sway get way out of hand with that setup?
- Oh perfect! Whats wrong with that? :B Should be nice and stable!
Hope he has his boat behind the 5ver! :E - Grit_dogNavigatorRedneck ingenuity at its best!
I’d be more worried the Trailblazer would cr@p the bed than the trailer(s) not staying attached ....lol - romoreExplorer IIHow would he hook up the utility trailer brakes unless he converted to electric? From the look of that setup there probably aren't any. As Jim n Steph mentioned that would be a real challenge to back up not to mention illegal in most states.
- JIMNLINExplorer IIIPickup bed trailer with 6-8 lug axle = 6k-7k lbs with brakes/E tires and wheels. 5th wheel trailer has brakes and the tow vehicle has brakes.
Its simply a poor man version of the high priced Automated Safety Hitch system. - Jim_n_StephExplorerWow, I would like to see them back that in a spot
- LwiddisExplorer IIColors don’t match.
