A request for cigarette smokers

I'm a single, long time cigarette smoker. In my home, the RV, the toad or my daily driver. In an RV park, I stay inside the RV. That's my choice. I prefer to control my environment, and that means A/C or a furnace. I don't even have lawn chairs. I have a butt bucket in each of my vehicles, so no need to toss a butt out the window. If I walk into a building with "No Smoking" signs, I don't smoke or go someplace else.
OTOH, I've been inside a building where somebody is either wearing cologne so strong that it would knock a buzzard off of a garbage scow or they take a bath once a month, whether they need it or not. That's my problem, so I either grin and bear it, or I move up wind.
If you go through life expecting strangers to live up to your expectations, often unspoken, you're in for a life of disappointment.

How about a "smokin generator" posting. That should start conflict too !!! :B

We ride a motorcycle and I am appalled at all the cigarette butts at intersections. Looks like litter to me. I detest the smell of cigarette smoke so I make an effort to stay away from it. My pet peeve is having to walk thru a door with all the smokers right outside the door of a business. If a restaurant allows smoking, we do not eat there.

During summer someone smoking, in the car in front, comes right over the hood and into the intake, and inside.
Happens in traffic, at slower speeds, especially at traffic lights. It does leave the smell, on your clothing hair etc, as if you're in a room, with them.
No different than being down wind of a rubbish fire, I suppose.

I think you should get a boombox, find a horrible rap station, point it at their site and crank up the vol as high as it will go!! When they complain about your loud music, tell them you will turn it off if they stop smoking!.....ummmm, not really but it would be fun!

I don't smoke but, I agree with some of the people here that suggest that you should just politely talk to the neighbors. They probably don't know it's a problem.

Few campers smoke. Ask to be moved to another campsite to solve the problem. Talking to the neighbor about smoking will only cause awkwardness between all parties involved.
