A&E 9100 Power Awning Fabric Replacement Tips Needed

Question

I have to replace the fabric on our awning. I cannot find replacement instructions specific to this model. Only the manual ones. Can I replace the fabric with the awning mounted to the camper? Is it possible to remove the screws / stops and slide out the old and then install the new one with out removing the tube and arms???

Try a search on youtube I recently watched a complete step by step replacement procedure. The replacement was done with the awning left on the unit. Caution make sure you know how to handle the tension spring before removing there is quite a bit of power in that spring and could hurt fingers, hands and arms.

Yes the fabric can be replaced with the awning outstretched, be advised there are tricks to it, and it is a multi person job.RegardsGemstone
