I agree, stay away. Not completely, but don't feel like you have to be the first person in line to get back to FL to spend your money and help recovery. Natural disasters in the USA bring about economic booms to the region that's effected. There'll be so much money flowing into FL for structure repair, infrastructure repair, etc. Contractors will be lined up, ready to take those insurance checks. Government spending will increase dramatically on all levels. Sure, small local RV parks may suffer in the short term, but we're coming into a slow season anyway, being that time between the end of summer and before the snowbirds start arriving.
Irma net effect = billions of dollars changing hands
