I see now that they do make this wheel with a 3200# load rating, maybe they matched the correctly.
Any clue if a wheel contains a visible part number?
NVM. i see now that all the wheels with an 8 bolt pattern are rated at 3200.
thanks.
3200# is still 500# lower than tire rating....wrong wheels
What is the axle rated for ? If it's a 6K axle then the wheels are the not the weak link in the chain, the axle is.
If it is an 8-lug rim, this is most likely a 3/4t or 1t truck. These trucks have axles that are rated around 10,000 lbs from the supplier and derated by the vehicle manufacturer for the application (vehicle class).
BTW: I had a F250 with the 9750 lb Sterling 10.5" axle. I ran 4500 lb Vision Heavy Hauler rims with 4800 lb LRH 14PR tires. The weak link in my setup was the rims which gave me a 9000 lb rear axle rating. Typical rear axle weight for me was 7000-8000 lbs which push the limits of 3650 lb OEM rims and tires too much.
