Ah! James Taylor

Lyrics from the song Wandering.

I've been wandering early and late from New York City to the Golden Gate and it don't look like I'll ever stop my wandering.

Great verse for the RVer.

  • John Wayne's "America Why I Love Her" does it for me. Gotta see all the lyrics of the song at least once. Make that two or three times. Google the songs lyrics if you've never heard it. I play the album every 4th of July.
  • It has to be the theme song from "Easy Rider" by Steppenwolf.
"Get your motor runnin', head out on the highway..."
  • Naw you all have the wrong song!
    Bob Seger "Roll Me Away"

Stood alone on a mountain top,
Starin' out at the great divide
I could go east, I could go west,
It was all up to me to decide

Just then I saw a young hawk flyin'
And my soul began to rise
    And pretty soon
    My heart was singin'

    Roll, roll me away,
I'm gonna roll me away tonight
Gotta keep rollin, gotta keep ridin',
Keep searchin' till I find what's right

    ahhhh Full Time RV'ing, ya "that's" what's right! :C

I wonder if we are all looking for something, something so undefined.
  • What works for me is the Shreck and Donkey song "On the road again, oh how I love to be on the road again..."

I sing it to the dog and text it to my son every time I pull out of a site. :B
