Another aspect that has changed since we first bought our Class C 11 years ago: we wanted to sightsee for a few weeks each year, and absolutely didn't want to board our dogs for that period of time. Back then, dog-friendly hotels were far and few between. Now, it seems like LOTS of hotels accept dogs....
Of course, you seldom find hotels on the edge of a babbling stream or tranquil lake; and since we still enjoy being outdoors as much as possible - having an RV will be a "must" for us until the day we can no longer do that physically. God willing, that's still a long way off for us.
