Allied (Nationwide) Insurance Roadside Assistance?

We have considered switching to Allied because we can save almost $300 a year with the only noticeable difference being a slower disappearing deductible. However, our agent explained that Allied's towing is not a dispatch system like our current insurance. She said we would have to find our own tow truck and then ask for reimbursement. Wasn't sure we wanted the hassle but would be interested to hear of other's experiences with Allied's towing.
