- Deb_and_Ed_MExplorer III love camping with immediate family, but that could be up to 30 people or so...LOL! 90% of the time it's just Ed and I and the dogs.
- pnicholsExplorer III depends on where you want to go and camp: With a motorhome and no tow, and when out in the boondocks and with possibly no cell coverage ... you might want to be doing it with some folks for both companionship in the evenings and for backup coverage in RV emergencies!
Such as places like this where we were following our RV'ing friends out there in front of us:
- HannahFellyExplorerUsually with friends, but there are trips I take solo, better to have silence and time to think everything over once in a while.
- doxiemom11Explorer IIMostly alone, spur of the moment things with other campers or family. We have met people we stay in contact with by camping at the same location for a few days. Travel is definitely alone.
- ReneeGExplorerMostly alone or with immediate family. We've done the group thing and it's hard, or near impossible, to relax.

We like to go alone, but also enjoy going with two close friends, traveling as a group of three.
Mike - VeebyesExplorer IIRVing we are totally different from our boating days. These days we are very much alone on extended multi month trips.
During the boating days, with kids growing up, we were very much weekend warriors always in a group of similar situation like minded weekend warriors. It was rare for us not to be in at least a 4 boat raft up anchored off an island with a beach for the weekend. - paddykernahanExplorerNever traveled/camped with a group.
Too free spirited and don't like to plan too far ahead.
Would consider a group camp destination for a few days or more. - If I could just find the right group that could tolerate me ;)
