Amazon Camper Force

Does anyone know if all the positions at Amazon are all full time? I was looking to work the season full time but DW would rather work only part time. Just curious.

  • My DW is currently working part time in Coffeyville and I work full time. As mentioned, one person must work full time before Amazon will cover site costs.

They also extended length of stay for Camperforce from 1200 hours to 8 months so people starting work now can work thru peak if desired ;)
  • Amazon pays for site as long as at least one is fulltime. Sharon did not work at all last year, and won't when we go back this year. It wouldn't hurt to ask.
  • I did know of a couple of people who worked a part time shift at Campbellsville last year. If I remember correctly they worked regular hours but only 2 days a week, weekends I think and they were partners of full timers. I wish they had a half time shift that worked all the days but only 5 hours a day. I guess they can't justify paying for a site and full hookups if they are only getting 20 hours a week out of you and if you have to pay for your site then the 20 hours wouldn't leave much in the bank.
  • We have not been there but are signed up and been vetted so we are going this year. From what I can gather they "promise" 40hr weeks with possible O/T. I haven't heard of any positions being part time.
  • I didn't see any part timers at Campbellsville last year. However, I did see a lot of people taking advantage of voluntary time off when it was offered. That all depends on how many orders are coming in.

For the best answer, contact whichever fulfillment center you're interested in working at.
