I had a friend several years ago that wanted to fly commercial passenger planes. But he was competing with other pilots that had many more flight hours. So he took a job flying commercial cargo planes to build up his hours. They fly at night - all night. Amazon has a huge warehouse at the airport in Louisville, KY. and their own runways and parking areas. Other places around the country as well. All Amazon packages are bar coded and run through a fully automated sorting facility. While the pilots are sleeping, the warehouse moves the packages from their origin to a plane headed for their destination. The next night, my friend hopped into a loaded plane and flew to the next stop. All the packages that were as close to their final destinations as possible were separated and loaded onto big trucks and delivered to their final warehouse stop. Then out to the familiar brown UPS delivery trucks.
I've seen videos of the packages being sorted in the warehouses. They're moving so fast that you can't even see the bar codes go by. But the machines can.
please show where you learned that they have their own air fleet & runways ! btw they do not !
what you speak of is UPS & FedEx and loading & sorting operations & transportation, NOT amazon's.
Amazon only has inventory/fulfillment centers.
