- doxiemom11Explorer IIWe do ours at least 2X per year including waxing. In between we will wipe down bay doors if dusty - clean the roof or an awning if under trees and always clean the front end and windshield after stopping - hate those bugs all baked on by the sun.
- tegu69ExplorerThe truck runs better when its clean, at least that's what I have been told.

Apparently!
I washed mine once this year and it doesn't look like it'll be twice. Getting backed up with things that need done before the snow flies, and washing a trailer at this point isn't on the schedule. If you have time to wash it a lot, it certainly can't hurt, but I have too many other "must do's" to fit in a "should do". There's always next year. The dirt will still be there waiting. - pappcamExplorerInteresting thread title...
I fully wash and clean the RV once a year but I clean the bugs off of the front more often. - rexlionExplorerI wash my trailer at least once every year or two, whether it needs it or not. :R
- down_homeExplorer IIGets washed before going out, most times, and when it comes in. When we are parked, at the RV park, it gets washed sometimes. Don't like a dirty mh or vehicle.
Wipe the dirt off my feet too. :) - flifisherExplorerGuilty!
I wash it before our road trips and when we return. Usually 1 - 3 weeks on the road. Don't worry while we are on the road. It's under a trailer cover when not in use. Wax once a year except the front cap, twice a year. Makes the bugs slide off a little easier. - Deb_and_Ed_MExplorer III wish I could wash mine, both look sort of road-worn right now. Even though the 5er is NOT parked under (nor even near) the Chinese Elm tree, it still gets covered in crud from it :-(
- PRodacyExplorerMaybe once a year. I find that the dirt is pretty effective at protecting the paint underneath it.
- patperry2766Explorer IITruck gets washed/waxed before we leave because it puts me in a foul mood to leave in a dirty truck. I know it's gonna get trashed on the trip and if I have time, I might wash it at a car wash and vac it out on the road.
Thorough cleaning on the truck/trailer when we get back. It's usually covered when unused.
