Andersen Leveler

I am thinking of picking these up for my new travel trailer. I am trying to keep some weight down and I thought this would be lighter than bringing stacks of wood. Does anybody have these? Are they really as easy to use as they look? I was able to read some review here http://www.amazon.com/Andersen-3604-Andersen-3604-Camper-Leveler/dp/B001GC2LVM but I would like to hear more about them.
  • Everyone that I've read who use them love them. A few have had to trim the narrow edge for close fitting tires, but I haven't read any real complaints.
  • I bought a pair few months ago and has worked really well with my Roadtrek. I also made a bag carrier for easy transport. Posted some pictures on this blog: Clicky here
  • I bought some and planned to try them out this weekend, alas, the campground closed due to flooding roads in the area. I am visuallizing them as easier to use when I am traveling by myself. should be easier than trying to lay boards out and back/pull on them. Since I will be home, I need to pull my TT a bit forward to get some things moved in yard, so if it quits raining, I will try them out, at least for a bit.

I saw the youtube video a while back and it looks like a great concept.
  • Yes they are that easy. I bought them in the middle of the last season and they work great. I still carry a couple pieces of 2x8 to put order them just in case. I have used them on dirt, grass, gravel, and concrete with no problems.
