As noted, the Andersen hitch is not for those who need maximum FALR.
Those of us who find it to be sufficient in that regard are rewarded with a very good towing experience. That may be subjective, but you cannot argue with clean, lightweight, and quiet.
(BTW Not many tow vehicles are rated for 1,400# TW) Some that are, like mine, are good to go with the Andersen.
