anderson levelers

has any one used or have any good input on the anderson levelers. other than the hipe they put out in the ads. I am thinking of getting a set but am wondering if the price is worth it.
  • Do a search here and you will find more to read than you ever wanted.

  • I bought a pair....40 bucks each at Les Schwab and they work great.
  • They work great but you need to have at least 4" between the tires for them to work.
  • My set works great but I just cracked one into two pieces yesterday. Will call Andersen on Monday. I'm not the first to report a cracked leveler so hope customer service is still in business.
  • Just ordered today from etrailer.com. $39.99 each, no tax and free shipping. Will be trying them on Dec 12th so will report back. We only have 2-3" between tires and the guy DH spoke with at Andersen said they can be trimmed up to 4" to fit.
  • The only trouble with trimming them is you lose that amount of lift.

But you are supposed to only trim one of them. The first couple inches appears to be ramp only. Correct?

    Trimming

If all we have to lift the 5r is 1/4" to 1", probably won't even worry about leveling it.
Guess we will find out when we use them in a couple of weeks.
