The point is not to sanitize it. The point is to get the bulky stuff out so it doesn't take up volume, slow flow and ultimately create a blockage.
And our method is faster and more effective than getting 5 gallons of water and dumping it down the toilet.
I never enter the rv when at a dump station but now I know why the folks that do take so long to dump. I thought you were making a sammich in there! :B
