Had to get something out of our rig that has been waiting in line for a month to get fixed. Employee walked us out and opened the door. What you don't lock them? Nope he said. Over two hundred and fifty customer rigs in the lot waiting for service and none locked! Must have signed several pages of CW not responsible documents when we checked in. Hell of a way to run a business.
And you left it there? :?
You CAN make them give you an appointment date. Your specific "time and date" and you bring your RV in for your given service time. The RV stays locked and secured at YOUR house where it WILL be covered by insurance.
If you succumb to the "leave it here we will get to it" you've been had. There are 10's of RV's that are being repaired before yours because you have given them an open end.. 'ok, fix it when ever'.
IMHO, they have convinced RV'ers that that is how the RV service world operates. And it simply is not true unless you 'choose' to be part of it.
ALL Service departments all have an appointment book. They have to plan their service. I would never leave an RV at a dealership without having an appointment date and time written in that service dept appointment book.
