OK, I have to throw the wet blanket in here.
We've been doing the fulltiming thing for nearly 14 years now. Until last year we workamped 4-5 months of the year and cruised the rest. We have done hosting, individually managing CG's, maintenance of over 500 sites and area managing 15 + CG's.
By advice of my own attorney and instruction from parent companies we have worked for, NEVER assist someone potitioning into a site if you are working for someone else. I do understand the basic desire for most of us to "help". If you inadvertently maneuver someone into a tree, guess who's going to be liable? Hint: It ain't the driver.
Wet blanket here too: So by not directing are we supposed to let them drive over the site pedestal or the water hook up "by never assisting?"?
One of the campgrounds we have hosted at instructed just to watch and make sure they did no damage. I guess that can be the happy medium, but would not probably satisfy a lawyer.
I have seen a camper in a DRIVE THRU site drive over the water hookup. After going to far he then BACKED over the hookup. Must have been a "never assist " park.
