This past summer while camphosting, during a long day of cleaning campsites, we were riding in the cart between campsites DW says stop so she can pickup a piece of rope laying in the road. She picks it up and shrieks "It's a snake" and drops it. Someone had already run it over & killed it. We picked it up with a shovel & disposed of it. Now DW gets lots of advice about being more observant while picking up garbage.
