The 'no increase in VOCs' claim doesn't relate to Cooking over it. I'd say the food safety testing would be a bit more stringent than a pollution-volume based statement. It does not say anything about 'different' chemicals/VOCs being released, nor the wood products being compared.
Not trying to stir things ups, but I wouldn't recommend anyone interpreting the article as 'OSB is an acceptable fuel for cooking fires'
I'd probably be fine using it for a bonfire and starting fires, but probably wouldn't cook directly over it. My opinion.
