Anyone towing a "new" VW Beetle four down?
The manufacturer does not support towing 4 down even with a manual transmission. Just wondering what the concern is or if this is just the company covering themselves. Anyone towing a new Bug? Bi...

No one's really sure why Volkswagen of America won't authorize any of its fleet for flat towing, even the stick versions. Guess they're too lazy to set them up for it, who knows? But, my answer in the link tells of many guys that are and have been doing it for quite some time and without any issues what so ever.
