interesting question came up recently. Are Campgrounds covered under Innkeeper laws, aka Hospitality laws? Such laws are designed to protect both the guest and the operator of lodging facilities.
Most are privately owned and they are renting out their property. Not providing lodging in a building. Which is why so many CG's can do what ever they want.
This came up when I questioned the county on a CG charging me an additional 9% bed tax on top of the state tax!
I said they were not providing me with a bed or a room so how could they be considered as an inkeeper. Bottom line the county said it was to generate more money, Florida being a tourist town. :R
