Most states have similar laws. This is why many parks are hesitant to rent a site for longer than 30 days (60 or even 90 days in some states) because the rental ceases to be covered by innkeeper laws and then falls under landlord/tennant laws.
As for the question about the park's obligation should you not fit. The renter probably would fall under the protections granted under the law, IF (big IF), the rig (camping unit) actually didn't fit. Not, didn't fit to your standards. And if you had given accurate information as to what you had, provided you were asked.
