If I am pulling in for the night and it doesn't fit my needs oh well I'm leaving in the morning and that's just part of life and RV'ing.
Common sense would dictate if you are planning a lengthy stay that one would go and check it out first and get all the important info on the CG BEFORE making reservations.
I agree - however, it is not always possible to physically "go and check it out". We reserved a spot recently and listed on the website, it said 'site 5' was 62 foot. Hmmm.... that should more than adequately accommodate our 32 foot 5ver and extended cab pick-up. However, upon arrival at the gate, the attendant started laughing and said: "There is no way you are going to get your rig in site 5." As it turns out, site 5 would hardly accommodate a PUP. Fortunately, they had one open site that we could use. It was definitely NOT what we would have chosen, but.... what are you going to do. We had the 3 grand-loves with us and couldn't disappoint them.
