Thanks for the expo, JJBIRISH, but:
I think we all know what the term "defrauding an Innkeeper" means...and (as you point out) I'm pretty sure that there's a law against it in every State/Province/other section of The World.
What I'm mystified by (and the reason I brought it up) is the assertion that there's some kind of it's-a-federal-crime language in "The Constitution". I read that to mean the U.S. Constitution, and I'm curious to know where on earth that comes in on/in that particular document.
Seems to me that The Framers had a lot more important things on their minds back then than some sleep/dine-and-dasher at a wayside tavern!
