Read the label and you will see that it contains "petroleum distillates". Then do a search of using that on any rubber product and make up your own mind. The destruction that petroleum distillates does to rubber tells me not to use it on ANY rubber product I own, including tires, but YMMV.........
If you review any tire manufacturer site for tire care they do not recommend any product with petroleum distillates for application on the tires.
.
Until Michelin came out with their own tire care products, the *ONLY* acceptable product was 303 Aerospace Protectant.
If you had warranty issues (incl road hazard damage) and admitted to using ArmorAll - your warranty was void!
The comments about petroleum distillates are very accurate!
If you have *old* ArmorAll - don't use on anything you value!
*Supposedly* -:@- ArmorAll re-formulated their product line a few years ago and removed the PDs.
However...if you go to ArmorAll's site, and go to "FAQ - Wheel and Tire" - - you will find the following "Q and A":
Q. "What are the ingredients? Do they contain silicone, alcohol, or peroleum distillates?"
A. "ArmorAll Extreme Tire Shine
products contain silicone,
petroleum solvent, -:(- and a fragrance."
(So, I'll continue to pass on *ALL* ArmorAll).:W
And use 303 Aerospace Protectant.:C

BTW -
303 Products was bought out by Gold Eagle, but 303 Products are still available under the same names - see link.
Gold Eagle - 303 Products On the site, go to 303 Protectant Product Brochures, Tech Facts Vol 1-4.
