- bukhrnExplorer IIIDepends, if in a FHU CG we use the RV shower, and even without a sewer hookup if we're only gonna be there a few days, but 5 days or more without FHU's, like State or National CG's we use their showers, UNLESS, they're really grungy. Haven't seen many of those.
- mogmanExplorerI use ALL the facilities in my trailer. That's what I bought it for.
I'm really not interested in standing in god knows what on a CG shower floor. - KD4UPLExplorerIt would never have even crossed my mind to use the CG shower. I have a nice one in my RV. I don't have to walk to it or back from it. I don't have to stand in line. It's right near all my toiletries and my clothes. It's clean and I know what's been in it lately. After all, that's why I bought an RV, to have facilities when camping.
- TrackrigExplorer IIDepends on the CG showers. I prefer to use the CG showers if they're half way decent because I don't like to put the steam from the shower in the MH, especially it it's already moist outside.
Bill - naturistNomadRV. That's why I bought it.
- wildtoadExplorer IIIf we have full hookups definitely the RV. If I really want a long hot shower I'll use the CG shower during the non peak time of the day. If we do not have full hookups and will be there for more than a few days I'll use the CG shower just to reduce the potential trip to the dump with the tote. Always wear shower shoes.
- Mike_TavernitiExplorerDo the campgrounds have showers ? Only use the RV. That's why we have a RV.

I like the shower in our RV. It's a corner type and very roomy.
In the time it would take just to walk to the showers, I'm done.
X2!
I also don't worry about full hookup, as when without a full hook up we would take Navy showers, we both showered every day and could go a week on tanks. - Dutch_12078Explorer IIWe like to use the shower in our motorhome, but sometimes when we're on an electric only site for a week or more, we'll use the CG showers if they're kept clean. Sometimes my wife needs help showering, so we prefer the separate handicapped/family bathrooms when available.
- MitchF150Explorer IIII guess it depends on what kind of shower you have in your rig, first off.... My RV shower is nothing more than a small closet.. Which is what it's now used as.. Even my little 5 foot nothing wife hates the RV shower... I'm 6'3", so needless to say, I don't fit in it... ;)
I go to State Parks, so they usually have pretty nice facilities, so it's not a big deal to take a shower using them.. Then, I'm only a long weekend camper, so a quick sponge bath usually works for me and my wife to keep clean and we can do that in the RV..
Anyway, do whatever works for you and that's all matters...
Good luck.
Mitch
