Rv showers

Glass absolutely. For all the reasons mentioned. Makes sure water stays inside and not outside on the bathroom floor.

Plus I hate plastic curtains touching and sticking to me when showering.

Had both - prefer glass.

Doesn't stick, get caught, and better at keeping water in the shower.

But not enough to pay to retrofit a shower which doesn't have glass.

Most importantly - my wife also prefers glass - and as mentioned above - keeping her happy is the key to your happiness.

Our last trailer had the mini-tub with shower curtain. Actually, it started out with one of those fan-fold semi-rigid curtains, but I replaced it with a curtain so I wouldn't keep hitting my shoulders and elbows on it. It would have been just fine with a curved bar. For the size camper we had, I wouldn't have wanted the exra weight that comes with a glass shower stall.

Now we have a neo angle shower stall with glass door. The only thing I don't like is that the door swings out, so water on the door drips all over the floor and after our showers the bath mat is pretty wet. One of those clamshell-type doors that slide open from the middle would be less messy.

Because of my size a glass door would restrict the size of the shower too much. I would be banging into it every time I moved. It's also less to clean and easier to replace.

Only other consideration is mini-bathtub or shower stall. The tub can act as overflow protection for grey water tank. We used a trailer with only a shower stall and it turned out that there was a problem with the grey water tank. It overflowed out through the shower all over the floor - what a mess! A tub would contain the problem.

Yeah it's quite easier to clean curtains than the glass of sliding glass doorssliding glass doors. Although you can clean curtains as you would like but you need to be perfect in cleaning glasses . any little mistake or carelessness can damage the glass easily .

We have a curtain and as long as it is closed we have had no problem with water on the floor or the curtain sticking to us. (I suppose if you were a large person that might happen.) To me, it just wouldn't make a difference as with most sizes of hot water tanks in a TT, you can't be in there very long anyway. So it boils down to keeping the wife happy and go with the shower door. Plus I like getting a new curtain now and then.

I prefer the glass enclosure since they are easier to clean on a daily basis with a squeegee and I don't have to fiddle with ensuring that it makes a good seal so that no spray leaks out. Don't know what the wife prefers but that is what the RV came with and since we like the floor plan it would not have been an issue anyway.

Curtain with Stromberg-Carlson Extend-A-Shower articulated rod. We've had that setup in all 4 of our RVs. It gives a lot more room in the shower than a door does. We use clips on the wall of the shower to grab the curtain, along with the plastic triangles caulked to the base, all to keep the water in the shower. So yes, our showers are an exercise in DIY improvements, but they are roomy and keep the water on the correct side.

We gave an accordion fiberglass (?) door. Light like a curtain but semi rigid so it stays in place. Works fine.
