awning rope lights
Last week while camping I saw a couple of campers that had led rope light on the camper right up next to the awning. Anyone know how to make those stay up there? One had lights that alternated colors...

I used plastic rope light strips from HD. They are 6' long and used 3 pieces. They came with a adhesive tape on the beck and I swapped it out for 3M weatherproof outside double sided tape. Installed about 3-4" below the awning when rolled up....that way they can be used if the awning is out or in.The light strip fits in the track and I used some more 3M tape approx. every 12" on the light track going on the track and over the strip and back on the top of the track. No taking down when I move. Bought the blue light strip from Amazon for 34.00.
