Awning Saver

Im bored at work and have not posted here in a while. Im sure many of you heard of this or do it but if you want to protect your awning from the sun while in storage, go buy some white plastic rain gutter and and piece together for length if needed; flip upside down and throw it on your awning. Works great.
Ok back to work...

I made this same setup a month ago and it works great. Bought two lengths of gutter from Lowes and a middle connector for $16.00. Last week took the fiver out for a test pull after adjusting the brakes and remembeed I left the da%& thing on the awnig. Pulled over when I had room to and it was still attached. Drove almost ten miles at 55 before I stopped. Good and cheap idea. Travel on.
What holds it on, or does it just fit that tightly?

Maybe the wind doesn't blow in Ca, but around here, it wouldn't last 5 minutes, unless you strapped it on somehow. ;)
