Since we travel there are some places that the wind seems to never stop. The four winters we spent in Florida the awning was out unless thunderstorms were in the forecast. The two winters we spent in Texas I gave up puting it down. Two summers on Oregon coast it was out the entire time we were there same with Alaska and NW New Jersey. In April we replaced it with electric and its been out two days wind on the plains is just too much. Now were settled for the summer and the winds here seem to vary hour by hour. At least with the electric we'll be able to put it out and bring it back in when we're sitting out.
