Awning use
Just wondering how many times you use your awning? So far out of the 3 years of owning the RV, we may have used it.. 5 times... Maybe. This year however we are going to Florida so we may use it a few times...

OOPs! Just noticed this is a very old thread.- Like mr ed I had to bring mine in at 3am if I somehow forgot at 10pm.
But I use it a lot, esp in hot weather when that side is facing south. It's nice to keep rain off the carpet too. But you be careful when bringing in an awning full of rain!! Mine doesn't drain so well. - The one complaint I had about my awning was windy weather, especially if I tried leaving it open at night. It made too much noise when I went to bed. There were several times I had to go outside in the middle of the night and stow the awning. And, I was using several deflappers and two tie-downs, one at each end. I finally had to get into the habit of rolling it up in the evening. Other than that, I did enjoy my awning and the shade it provided.
OOPs! Just noticed this is a very old thread. :S - Since mine goes out/in at the touch of a button I use mine all the time...even putting it out a couple feet to just shade the window under it or to stop the rain from coming in.
