And so says the guy listening to the Cousin Brucie 60's on 6 xm radio as I type, What a blast us boomers had and some of us still do!
I would love to have back the 65 Impala SS, Hurst shifter ,396 engine that I gave a 100.00 for and dad wanted me to get rid of it before I killed myself in it or worse some one else just after I got scratch in 4th gear! Nothing could touch it!
Three on the tree, ... My kids dont remember those but we had a few when they were young! They know 5 speed but I associate that with 4 or 6 cyl.
How many of you boomers woke up on Saturday mornings to the wringer washer running or going to school and you friend had run his arm into the wringer?
We thought we would never get old but here we are! Glad to be here by the way!
