I've moved similar sized trailers around on dirt and gravel and pavement on grades not near as steep as you describe.
NO WAY WOULD I ATTEMPT THIS unless it was dry pavement. Even then I'm not sure I'd try it, least of all grass. Grass has water in it. grass has not bite, grass comes out of the ground. nothing to rely on to provide traction.
even on hardpacked dirt I needed 4wd and it's hard to brake going backwards even at lmph or less on anything other than clear pavement. your concentrating on backing AND backing, not near as easy as going straight downhill concentrating on directly in front of you. one wrong twich of the steering why eel could result in very ubintended consequences.
