IT had nothing to do with a "PIT BULL", it had to do with an owner, and jerk.
Dogs are not the issue -- and especially 'those called' pit bulls, of which none exist. Large dogs with short hair and muscular build get lumped into one category 'pit bull' ... AKC and other dog organizations do not recognize or categorize a pit bull breed.
The closest visual look in a dog most folks call Pit Bull that is recognized as a breed is Staffordshire Terrier ... and the 'pet name' has come to be, 'Pit Bull' ... but is not official.
Please do not lump all stout dogs as pit bulls, most have a very sophisticated breed name, and should be recognized as such -- and most are: clean, friendly, protective, fun, loyal, and worth having, without the nasty reputation ...

I really wish people would figure out what breed a dog fits, and call it that - it gives all dogs with a think muzzle and muscle a bad name. Thanks B
