Life is full of challenges, all we can do is look for the best in a troubling situation.
We are currently at a campsite in northern Indiana. According to the DNR website the campsite appeared to be okay and met all of our requirements. But when we got here this weekend found out that the site is really unlevel. But making the best of an awkward situation I am glad I always carry extra lumber for leveling and for the stabilizer jacks. Even after I got the trailer leveled left to right the campsite sloped downhill and sideways so much that I had trouble getting one of my weight distribution bars disconnected from the trailer. It was just way too much pressure. There again making the best of a difficult situation I used my head and simply rested the camper on the stabilizer jacks on the front raised the tongue jack put more blocks underneath and then continue to raise the trailer hitch until that weight distribution bar was loose enough it came off. We could have asked for a different campsite as there are many available at the moment but we decided to stay with what we had got everything taken care of and everything is great.
We're having a great weekend we are currently at Walmart in Peru Indiana my wife is looking for a new griddle because we decided that it was time for a second one. I'm sitting here in the truck with the dog because it's so hot outside and can't leave the dog alone. There again make the best of a difficult situation.
Sorry to hear that your situation wasn't so pleasant. But sounds like you did work out something that met your needs. I suggest enjoying what you have and when the time comes to move on, move on.
