I live in a metro area and have stored my RVs for several years at a secure facility 2 miles from my home. In some ways it's inconvenient, like if there's small repair I'd like to make between my activities of daily living without having to drive to the facility; or if I want a measurement for a mod or addition, but, generally and aside from those minor inconveniences, it just takes a bit more energy when preparing for a trip, ie: loading the car with food and activity specific supplies, driving to the facility and unloading car and loading the RV.). Minor stuff. Doable.
Don't sell your RV. You'll adjust.
I tend to take mine out at least two 3-day weekends per month (another virtue of living in sunny southern CA), so it's never sitting unused for too long.
