Before we bought we checked to make sure we could have all our vehicles and class "B" at home. 3 cars, RV and a Pickup. I had a strip paved out back for the RV and Toad. I can't imagine not being able to tinker on the RV at home.
Check and see if you can house the RV in a new building on your property.
If you have a TALL RV put a portion underground if the city has a building height restriction.
