Unfortunately my best response is me too. I would not own an RV if i had to store it somewhere.
Cost of storage is not the deal breaker. I could not handle the vulnerability factor of having my rig in storage.
Simply put I could not trust others to keep my rig secure.
Storage would ruin my entire RV experience.
My advice to the OP is to sell or move!
I wish I could be more positive.
I understand the storage issue maybe my own hang up and many RV'ers use storage facilities, nevertheless public storage would be a deal breaker for me.
Maybe you can store your unit at a friends place or make a safe and suitable private arrangement vs. public storage
