And on that note a friend of mine lived in a a subdivision that had an HOA that DID allow RV's....however these hoa's have presidents that are elected.
He quickly found out that come time to elect a new president the community can ban together and vote in a different person that is aligned to their opinions of RV's and CAN and DO get the new guy in and then CHANGE the HOA to ban RV's.
AND the term 'grandfathered in' doe NOT apply to independent HOA's. They are not governed by the county. :(
Which is why most RV'ers don't even go near real estate with ANY covenants even if they are for allowing RV's. It can all change come election time which I think a lot of people don't know about.
