You know.. I have been giving this some thought.. I don't have that problem.. I'm a FULL TIMER.
Fact: Back when I had a Sticks & Bricks I paid for Water, Sewer, Gas, Electricity, And TAXES, oh man did I pay Taxes. Little over 3,000 a year.
now with Membership camping I pay about 90 dollars a month plus gas to move between two parks,, I pay about 120/month in the winter plus gas and that covers Water, Sewer, electric and a good share of my Internet. Oh yes, I had to pay for internet at home too.
So 3,000 a year in taxes became 382 in registration fees plus less than 2,000 in Parking fees.
250/month for Gas, Water, Sewer and electric, became about 50/month (Average in summer) for gasoline.
IF.. I chose to park in one spot long term.. It would cost me 350/month (There is a discount if you buy by the year).
You might be money ahead to find a nearby CG you can lease a site in, Then live full time in the RV and find a realator to get rid of the sticks & Bricks.
But that decision is up to you.. Of course if you are retired.. You can just see the USA.
Heck, even moving every week or two, and so on I have friends in most of the parks I stay at... Sadly. I have one less today. (Just spoke with his widow).
