In December, one of our local police officers wrote up everyone that has an RV/Boat in their driveway. When I called him to see what the problem was, he said, 'He was just cleaning some things up for the end of the year, no complaint-just an ordinance violation'It sounds like this is a once a year deal - if they even bother to check. Just pay the fine and continue to park in your driveway. The fine can't be more that a years worth of storage fees. It also sounds like you know the officer who wrote you up. Must be a small town.
