x2. While a chance of a failure is probably pretty slim, its not like you are going to be taking the tire out of the carrier every day. If you do it once during the time you have the camper, you will be beating the odds. Manufacturers don't add stuff to the cost of the product for no reason.
If you don't think you can get the tire off by yourself, invest in road side service.
