Baltimore tunnel
I am heading south on 95 from Pa> I need to avoid the tunnel in Baltimore b/c of propane. What is best way around?

- Take 95 to del. 896 south then connect with 13 south to rte 50. Over the bay bridge past annapolis to i95 again just before the alexandria potomac bridge. Great road and no tolls

CBBT is the one you can go through and just turn off the tank(s). Baltimore is another story. I don't know of anyone that has been stopped...but it is heavily posted!
695 East/South is the route we take. As others have said, shorter and no traffic.- not 100% but u should call the tunnel my buddy went through either that one or bay bridge-tunnel they just made him turn off his tanks. get off 95 and go toward key bridge.
- Take I-695, Baltimore beltway. Either way on I-695 will work.
I-695 South is shorter, has less traffic and has a toll bridge.
I-695 North is more miles, has no toll and lots of traffic, especially during rush hours.
Ed - Key Bridge but if you want to avoid the toll take 695 around the western side to hook up again with 95.
