Battery powered scooters
Does any one have any experience with battery powered 3 wheel scooters? If so which brand should I avoid? I am looking for something with a seat.....

The federal government is required to abide by the ADA law just like anyone else. The fact is, in most circumstances if your facility wasn't ADA compliant at the time the law was passed, it is grandfathered (the includes federal gov facilities). However, if you remodel it, you have to bring it up to ADA compliance. However, there is no regulation that says you have to provide an elevator down to the bottom of the gorge to see the waterfalls, or make the Tilt-A-Whirl wheelchair accessible.
